Service Description
Family Dispute Resolution Session Family Dispute Resolution sessions run for up to 3 hours and are available online or face to face. The cost is $600 per party. Mediation is a confidential process conducted by an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner under the Attorney General's department. The mediator is an independent, impartial, and experienced professional who facilitates discussion, helps clarify issues, keeps conversations focused, and assists with documenting any agreements reached. The mediator does not take sides, make decisions on behalf of the parties, or provide legal advice. Family mediation supports individuals to resolve disputes relating to children, finances, or both following separation in a respectful and structured environment.
Cancellation Policy
Clients may manage their own appointments online, subject to the following conditions: Cancellations: Clients may cancel their booking online up to 12 hour before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 12 hour of the appointment start time are not permitted online. Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their booking online up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling is not available within 12 hours of the appointment.
